Thank you card.

A couple of months ago one of my students gave me a beautiful hand made thank you card. I was quite shocked to see how stricking this drawing was. I could really recognize myself! There was all sort of details in it that made me smile. A pencil on my hair, the red skirt, my favourite waistcoat with holes at the back...

I have been teaching children for a very long time now and I still get amazed by their powers of observation and attention to details. What I really love about this picture is that, somehow I look like Van Gogh, painting in his bedroom in Arles with the difference that I have a marvellous sun inside the room. Thank you, Iliana!
